image of julian pavonePlaying the drums while sitting atop his father’s lap since the age of three months, this rhythmic child began keeping a steady beat in his mother’s womb! Now, just 5-years old, he plays a 22-piece custom drum set with 17 cymbals and a double kick. He plays rock, funk, fusion and jazz beats with his Vic Firth Signature Series sticks on drums, Sabian cymbals, Sennheiser Microphones, and a scholarship from Dancers Edge Studio – all four companies having given him full artist endorsements! He also prefers Remo drum skins. His favorite bands to rock to include The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, The Who, Chicago, TOTO, Rush, Earth, Wind & Fire, Journey, Parliament, Stephanie K and The Detroit Katz, Barry White and Santana.

Many consider Julian to be the “Tiger Woods of the Music Industry”. He was offered a contract to be a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers’ Drumline at age 15 months (the youngest member by 16 years!). Then, at 20 months, Julian recorded a CD, “Go Baby!”, with legendary bassist Ralphe Armstrong. Trapper Jack, from Cleveland’s radio station, WDOK 102.1, broke the story and Julian has been shocking audiences ever since. Since then, he has received worldwide media coverage with more than 9000 newspaper and magazine articles written about him.

He has also appeared on more than 100 Television and News shows, including “The Oprah Winfrey Show”, “Good Morning America”, “The Maury Show”, “Martha Stewart”, “Inside Edition”, “MSNBC”, “WGN”, “FOX News Dayside”, “Good Company” and Japan’s #1 television show, “Amazing Stories”, twice. He has also starred in a television show pilot, “Finding Julian’s Band”®, created by Rocky Seprino and had a documentary about him produced by Korea’s Seoul Broadcasting Systems.

He has performed live on numerous radio stations around the world and for many concert venues, including the legendary Whisky A Go-Go (the youngest ever to perform at this venue), House of Blues and Hard Rock Cafe. He has performed for the Detroit Pistons, Detroit Tigers, Cleveland Cavaliers, Cleveland Indians, Chicago Cubs and at the Cleveland Grand Prix. He has inspired a series of children’s books, has his own signature pasta, “Julian’s Mac and Cheese”, led to the formation of Harmonie Network (a national entertainment and music company), influenced the launch of his own clothing line, and invented and received a patent for “Abracadabra”® Stain Cover-up, now also making him “The World’s Youngest Inventor!”®.

He was featured in “Ripley’s Believe it or Not”, and was named Muscular Dystrophy Association’s Honorary Goodwill Ambassador for 2009.

He loves to play with others, and the Julian Pavone Band made their debut last summer at Michigan’s Stars & Stripes Festival – to the largest crowd their venue has ever seen. They also performed at the Brighton Summerfest, for Chicago’s WGN Morning Show, at the Hard Rock Chicago, at the Hard Rock Cleveland for Fox News with Kenny Crumpton, and at West Hollywood’s Whisky A Go-Go, where Led Zeppelin, The Doors, The Who, Van Halen, Guns N’ Roses, and many others made their marks and rose to prominence.

Julian and his talent are being nurtured and supported by a tremendous group of instructors, including William Winfield, III (drums), Dom Famularo (drums), Ron Strnad (drums), Dennis Sheridan (percussion), Francesco Cavallini (voice, guitar) and Ralphe Armstrong (bass guitar). He also attends University Liggett School, a private, college-preparatory day school that is Michigan’s oldest coeducational, independent school.

Recently, multi-award winning production company, WonderWorld Entertainment, signed the prodigy drummer to 13 episodes. Julian will star in and co-host the show, “All You Need Is Music”, with Michael J. Powell (4-time Grammy Award winning producer). He will travel to major U.S. cities on a quest to find out about the birth and evolution of various types of music throughout the country.
